Welcome to the free exploratory version of the Art Integration as an Assessment Strategy professional development module! This version is meant to give teachers a sneak-peak at the content and expectations, without needing to pay upfront. Please note that this free version will not lead to Continuing Education credit, as there are no completion requirements. To earn CE credit, please register for and complete the EDCI 5959 version of the drop ($60). The purpose of this short course is to explore creative ways of incorporating visual art into your classroom practice. In particular, these modules aim to offer some inspiration for using visual arts projects as engaging performance assessments in different content areas. The thinking here is that visual art can be a highly effective medium through which students can demonstrate and creatively communicate their understanding of content.
