This is the free exploratory version of Creating Infrastructure for Student-Driven Assessments professional development drop. This drop explores how to assess and enhance classroom culture and instructional practices to effectively support student-driven assessments. Learners will use evidence to gauge whether their existing instructional practices and culture foster an environment conducive to student-driven assessments. They will examine various elements, including mindsets, skills, dispositions, structures, and routines, and explore how these can all be integrated into daily practice to enhance student agency and critical thinking, preparing students for student-driven assessments. In the Demonstration of Learning, learners will gather and analyze evidence from their teaching practices and the learning environment, reflecting on their alignment with student-driven assessments and proposing actionable steps for enhancement.
