Explore Designing a Deeper Learning Unit

This is the free exploratory version of Designing a Deeper Learning Unit drop. In this Drop, learners will explore how to construct a Deeper Learning unit plan using frameworks like Understanding by Design (UbD) and principles from the Science of Learning. Learners will learn to identify and apply key components of UbD to ensure their units promote deep understanding and real-world application of content. They will also look at how to integrate personalized learning strategies to meet diverse student needs. In the Demonstration of Learning, learners will design a Deeper Learning unit plan that incorporates these elements and reflects their learnings from the Drop.
