Explore Grading for Equitable Outcomes

This is the free exploratory version of Grading for Equitable Outcomes drop. In this Drop, learners will explore equitable grading systems and how they can be applied to create fair and supportive learning environments for all students. Learners will analyze their current grading practices and develop specific grading strategies that address fairness, transparency, and student motivation. In the Demonstration of Learning, learners will identify and begin to develop ways to increase equity in their grading practices. They will also draft a personal grading philosophy based on the three pillars of equitable grading practices: mathematical accuracy, transparency and communication, and motivation.
