Full course description

LMS in Face-to-Face Instruction

Welcome to the course on incorporating a Learning Management System (LMS) in Face-to-Face Instruction!

This course provides an overview of how the use of a LMS provides for a more student-centered approach in face-to-face instruction.  It will focus on how a LMS enables the management and delivery of learning content and resources to students.  An overview on how a LMS maintains interaction between the instructor and students will be discussed.  Also, a look at how it provides an efficient way to evaluate students through online submission of assignments and assessments and the ability to provide immediate feedback to students will be highlighted.

This course is divided into 6 modules.  To receive credit for the course, satisfactorily complete four of the modules (though you are encouraged to complete all 6).  A badge/micro credential is awarded for every two modules completed.  Complete additional courses to add to your micro credentialing in Digital Teaching and Learning.

This course explores how a LMS supplements face-to-face instruction.
